Candescent is seeking a Communications Summer Intern to support our corporate communications and marketing efforts during Summer 2026. This role is ideal for college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors who are interested in communications, marketing, or storytelling and want hands-on experience at a technology company shaping the future of digital banking.
The intern will collaborate closely with the communications and marketing team to support internal communications, digital content, and engagement initiatives, gaining exposure to how a high-growth FinTech company communicates with employees, clients, and the broader market.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
What you will be responsible for and what you will do
  • Assist with content creation for internal communications, newsletters, and employee updates
  • Support social media content, with an emphasis on LinkedIn and corporate brand storytelling
  • Contribute to website and blog content, including drafting, proofreading, and content updates
  • Research topics related to technology, digital banking, FinTech trends, and company initiatives
  • Help support events, employee engagement activities, and community programs
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing team members on creative projects and campaigns
  • Provide general project and administrative support to help the team meet deadlines and priorities

Qualifications and Experience
  • Currently enrolled college student (freshman, sophomore, or junior)
  • Pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
  • Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
