Position Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepares new hire personnel file folders and announcements.
  • Scans and saves forms, documents, reports, new hire files, candidate packages, resumes, benefits, and other related information to the human resources data system.
  • Assists with searching for candidates for open jobs.
  • Assists with marketing development projects and tasks.
  • Assists with the auditing of human resources records, information, reports, forms, documents, etc.
  • Maintains and protects the confidentiality of all bank, associates, candidates, and Human Resources-related information; informs the manager immediately of all important information, challenges, problems, concerns, and issues that he or she experiences or gains knowledge of.
  • Creates, sorts, retains, files, and maintains personnel files, documents, records, and other Human Resources files and records; purges and stores files, documents, records, and information; retains files as well as other records, policies and procedures related to human resources department and ensures records and files are maintained in compliance with the Bank and Human Resources Department procedures, policies, guidelines, and practices, Federal, State, and local laws, government regulations, and retention requirements.
  • Proofreads all correspondences, reports, e-mails, and other communication and documentation for appropriate content, tone, accuracy, quality, grammatical and spelling errors before it is submitted to the manager for review; assists with the proofreading process of various correspondence (memos, letters, reports, etc.) and other communications prepared by other Human Resources associates.
  • Performs special projects and assignments; assists with the administration of various Human Resources programs and policies; and assists with scheduling and coordinating department meetings; and takes notes and prepares meetings minutes and reports.
  • Recommends new methods, approaches, changes, suggestions, and ideas to aid the efficiency and productivity level of the department and services provided; participates in the development of department goals, objectives, strategic plans, programs, and systems.
  • Assists with setting up HR-related events.
  • Assists with covering front office/desk.
  • Assists with maintaining Executive kitchenette.
  • Assists with the office/department organization project(s).
  • Obtains mail, sorts, scans, and forwards all mail received for the department daily.
  • Assists with answering telephone calls and greeting customers.
  • Performs/completes all assigned training requirements.
  • Reports to work on time, adheres to work schedule, and follows bank policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information.
  • Maintains a professional image and behavior.
  • Obtains an understanding of general HR functions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's in human resources management
  • Digital and technology-savvy, creative, and proficient in using advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) ADP Workforce Now HR System, multi-media, other office digital devices, and equipment, with the ability to implement innovative solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, problem resolution, attention to detail, project management, innovation, logic, and critical thinking, research, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance, and changing environment; able to adapt to change.
  • Ambitious with a strong work ethic and high integrity, positive behavior, ability to work independently and as a team in a collaborative environment; detail-oriented with excellent time management and creative planning skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and must be able to demonstrate and maintain a cheerful composure, consistently demonstrate professional appearance, demeanor, and image, and always represent the CTB Brand.
