Job description

Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video.
As Digital Asset Manager for Amazon MGM Studios Marketing, you'll help define and deploy best-practices, tools, standards, and workflows to support a growing slate of the world's best content. You'll partner with campaign managers, creatives, producers, content security, metadata experts and engineers to develop and manage large-scale digital asset libraries. You'll dive deep into ways that AI can help improve UX/CX, and help implement new technology to supercharge asset management tools and processes. You'll dive deep into current processes and tools, and think big about ways to scale, streamline, and continuously improve our support for customers.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup-like environment while innovating to revolutionize our Marketing practice. This role requires strong foundations in Digital Asset Management, and an enthusiastic embrace of AI to enhance automation, search & discovery, content intelligence, and workflow efficiency. You will be successful in this role if you are highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team-oriented, can work independently under time constraints, meet deadlines and have a proven track record of taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results.
The Digital Asset Manager is:
* A digital asset management mentor, educator, and facilitator for the entire Marketing organization
* A key partner for teams focused on DAM product development & management, creative asset creation, localization, campaign operations, etc. in optimizing workflows and improving asset management processes
* An advocate for bar-raising metadata, taxonomy, and mechanisms that support operational excellence
* A quick learner - able to understand, document, and support workflows related to Marketing titles & campaigns
Key job responsibilities
* Set up title/project folder structures, permissions, and user access within DAM tools
* Train & Onboard users to new and existing DAM tools with a focus on DAM best practices and AI enabled features
* Manage internal user accounts, permissions, and routine compliance audits
* Leverage AI/ML tools to automate tasks such as tagging, categorization, and content recognition (e.g., image, video, and text analysis), and to support your other day-to-day tasks.
* Monitor asset usage analytics and apply insights to improve content performance and lifecycle management
* Create and deploy reporting mechanisms to support an evolving toolset, expanding slate, and diverse business and technology stakeholders.
* Partner with creative, marketing, and technology teams to streamline asset workflows from creative concept to final delivery
* Create and deploy mechanisms to organize, track, and access assets for new campaigns, with an emphasis on the unique needs of stakeholders focused on Work-In-Progress (WIP) assets.
* Manage the organization, metadata tagging, and distribution of digital assets to ensure discoverability and efficient access
* Spearhead asset migrations, ensuring data integrity through rigorous validation and preservation of user roles and permissions
* Curate and deliver final asset collections to global marketing partners, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely distribution
* DAM tool end-user support, and related contributions to comms, reporting, and knowledge base development
A day in the life
As an agile multitasker, you'll support projects with multiple deliverables. You'll set the standard for asset workflows and metadata practices, and ensure campaign teams have frictionless access to the assets they need. You'll perform responsibilities such as product ownership of asset management tools, administration of access and permissions, and working with product and tech teams to optimize UX/CX, and security features. You'll contribute to a rich knowledge based of SOPs, technical specs, and training materials, and will be a point person for support, training, and onboarding of global stakeholders. As a credible voice for excellence in digital asset management, you are a leader, a collaborator, and an excellent communicator.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of creative services experience
- 3+ years of entertainment, brand or production entity experience
- Experience and understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
- Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service or studio
- Experience working with stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working on or with large-scale, global creative campaigns
- Experience with asset management, design workflows, or partnering with creative teams
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
- Master's degree in film, media, production, marketing
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
- Deep knowledge of video, audio, and image encoding formats and industry best practices
- Proven experience with MAM/DAM management, digital media workflow orchestration, and related tools/technologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
