We are seeking a Digital Asset Management Specialist (DAM Specialist) to serve as the primary administrator and steward of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.As a Digital Asset Management Specialist, you'll ensure our digital assets-including product images, videos, creative content, marketing materials, and brand resources-are organized, searchable, compliant, and easily accessible across teams and markets. If you enjoy creating structure, improving processes, and helping teams work more efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Do as Our Digital Asset Management Specialist
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Medela's DAM platform.
  • Manage asset ingestion, metadata standards, taxonomy, tagging, version control, and content lifecycle processes.
  • Ensure digital assets are organized, searchable, compliant, and accessible across teams and regions.
  • Establish and maintain governance standards for asset management and content organization.
  • Partner with Creative, Brand, Digital, Product Marketing, and regional teams to support content needs.
  • Develop and maintain metadata frameworks, naming conventions, and data dictionaries.
  • Monitor asset usage and ensure compliance with brand standards and governance requirements.
  • Train and support education for PIM and DAM users across the organization.
  • Collaborate with technology and platform partners on integrations, enhancements, and system improvements.
  • Support DAM migrations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For - Digital Asset Management Specialist
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Library Science, Information Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing digital assets, content operations, DAM platforms, or related systems.
  • Experience administering Salsify or a comparable enterprise DAM platform.
  • Experience with PIM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Metadata architecture
    • Taxonomy development
    • Tagging strategies
    • Asset governance
    • Content lifecycle management
  • Experience working with content management systems, DAM integrations, and automation workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to support and train users with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Collaborative mindset and passion for helping teams access and manage content effectively.
  • Experience with enterprise DAM solutions such as Salsify, Bynder, Aprimo, Brandfolder, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting marketing, creative, brand, or content teams.
  • Experience with digital asset migrations, audits, and data quality initiatives.
