Job description

Modern Diesel LLC is looking for a full-time Service Advisor for our medium and heavy duty diesel shop . Manager is responsible for the customer experience, service sales and retention as well as shop management. To achieve this, they must have a strong knowledge of the services offered and how they benefit the customerโ€™s lifestyle and diesel maintenance needs.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

- Greet customers and retain all necessary information for the customer, vehicle and vehicle concerns

- Dispatch workorder to technician and ensuring thorough inspections and notes are completed.

- Estimate, sell and see jobs are completed in a timely manner

- Order vehicle specific parts from multiple vendors

- Manage technicians, including conducting annual evaluations and write up as necessary

Must Have Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years diesel experience ie mechanic or advisor

- Minimum of 2 years as a service advisor

- Minimum of 2 years as a manager

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Mitchell1 software

- Bilingual
