Job description

We are seeking a Senior Diesel Technician with expert diagnostic skills and deep knowledge of diesel engines, particularly for heavy-duty trucks. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot complex issues using OEM proprietary software and third-party diagnostic tools, work independently, and lead a team of 3 technicians.
Looking for someone who will communicate with and mentor his crew while working alongside them. The Senior Diesel Technician will ensure quality control and efficient task delegation while maintaining high service standards during standard business hours. Experience-based compensation, full benefits, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match are provided.
The technician will primarily service a mixed fleet of trucks with some in town travel required. Technician will have to communicate closely with dispatch to prioritize repairs with regard to freight requirements - some "on the fly" or urgent adjustments are sometimes required, and the ability to adapt shop scheduling expectations to these needs is highly important. The qualified candidate will be expected to give us a 5 day work week. There are typically no nights or weekends. Pay scale is dependent on certifications, skill sets and ability to perform the job.
