This position is responsible for managing a team of skilled mechanics, coordinating maintenance schedules, and implementing best practices to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of fleet assets. The role requires strategic planning to optimize resource allocation, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. The Head Diesel Mechanic serves as a technical expert and mentor, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team. Ultimately, this position ensures that all diesel machinery operates at peak performance, supporting the overall success and reliability of transportation operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
