Employees may work for various agencies under DHS, such as U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), or the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). DHS jobs are critical for maintaining national security and public safety. Applicants typically need to meet specific qualifications and undergo background checks.
