About the Role
Mercy House is seeking a detail-oriented Grant Compliance & Administration Specialist to manage state and federal housing grants, with a focus on programs funded through the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). This role ensures compliance, financial accuracy, and audit readiness across all grant activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with DHCD and other grant requirementsÂ
- Manage CAMS portal, including drawdowns and reportingÂ
- Track grant budgets, expenditures, and documentationÂ
- Review expenses to ensure alignment with approved fundingÂ
- Maintain audit-ready records and reportsÂ
- Support Finance Committee and audit requestsÂ
Qualifications
- 3+ years of grant administration or financial oversight experienceÂ
- Experience with government grants (DHCD, HUD, or similar) preferredÂ
- Strong Excel and financial tracking skillsÂ
- Detail-oriented with ability to interpret regulationsÂ
