Position SummaryThe Community Support Specialist is responsible for supporting daily operations within the Community 43 program. This role focuses on client engagement, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and assisting with program activities to ensure a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all members. Key ResponsibilitiesClient Support & EngagementGreet clients upon arrival and assist with check-in for morning groups Provide a welcoming, supportive, and professional presence in the clinicMaintain regular communication with clients, including outreach to individuals who are absent to address barriers or concerns (once implemented)  Facility & Environment MaintenancePrepare and maintain coffee service for clients and staff throughout the day Clean and maintain common areas, including:Dusting railingsMaintaining outdoor smoking areas (removal of cigarette butts)General tidiness of the clinic environment  Organization & Inventory SupportSort, organize, and maintain the donation closet to ensure accessibility and usability Identify and communicate organizational needs or improvements for donation management  ScheduleMonday – Thursday8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Arrival, client greetings, check-in assistance9:30 AM – 10:15 AM: Facility upkeep and cleaning tasks10:15 AM – 10:30 AM: Break10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Donation closet organization and program supportAdditional duties (once implemented): Client outreach and alumni coordination support Friday8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Arrival, client greetings, check-in assistance9:30 AM – 10:15 AM: Donation closet organization10:15 AM – 10:30 AM: Break10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Continued organization and program supportSubject to change. Minimum QualificationsValid Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona DPS)Proof of Negative TB Test (current within required timeframe)Current CPR / First Aid CertificationCompletion of HIPAA Training prior to or upon hireAbility to comply with all ADHS, AHCCCS, and Joint Commission standards Preferred QualificationsExperience in behavioral health, peer support, or community-based programsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to maintain a structured daily routine and follow assigned schedules Working ConditionsBehavioral health outpatient settingFrequent interaction with clients in recoveryModerate physical activity (cleaning, organizing, lifting light items)As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, Sanctuary Recovery Centers conducts background checks and drug screenings for all potential employees.
