Are you passionate about building strong connections, fostering community engagement, and making a positive impact? Join the Rogers Police Department as a Community Engagement Specialist and play a key role in strengthening relationships between law enforcement and our community! Under direction from Police Sergeants and Captains, the Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for facilitating proactive relationships and crime reduction strategies in the residential and business communities; disseminates relevant crime prevention and statistical information to key partners and residents, conducts premise surveys of commercial and residential properties, responds to public inquires, participates and facilitates safety and educational seminars, leads Neighborhood Watch program, coordinates Night to Unite event, monitors and analyzes crime trends and assists with enforcement strategies. This position also serves as a Community Services Officer with patrol and/or jail duties when required. Position description and online application available online.
