Job description

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Manager to support internal manufacturing and operations initiatives. This role serves as a central coordinator between cross-functional teams, driving alignment, and execution against key objectives. The Manufacturing Project Manager facilitates communication; tracks progress and removes obstacles while maintaining a strong understanding of the underlying technical work. Success in this role requires the ability to translate complex engineering and manufacturing concepts into clear priorities, enabling teams to mitigate risks and deliver on quality, schedule, and performance goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts, driving alignment, and ensuring successful execution of internal manufacturing and operations projects.
  • Act as a central point of alignment between Engineering, Operations and Quality to ensure priorities, timelines, and deliverables are clearly understood.
  • Facilitate communication by translating technical concepts into actionable plans and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Establish key milestones, track, and communicate progress across multiple projects.
  • Proactively identify risks, and drive resolution through appropriate teams.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and project reviews to ensure clarity of scope, accountability, and next steps.
  • Support technical investigations by coordinating inputs, tracking actions, and ensuring timely follow-up to resolution.
  • Provide regular, concise stakeholder updates on project status, risks, and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, coordination, and execution within manufacturing operations through close collaboration with operations team.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • High level of organization with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
  • Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with standard business software tools.
  • Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI.

  • Prior experience managing internal manufacturing or operations projects.
  • Familiarity with electrical assemblies and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
