The Children's Hospital Foundation is hiring a Development Coordinator who will be responsible for the coordination and execution of various campaigns and initiatives with a focus on identifying, cultivating, and stewarding both active and prospective donors

As a Development Coordinator supporting the Corporate Giving team, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing fundraising campaigns and initiatives primarily focused on engaging and stewarding corporate donors and partners at the $5,000+ level. You will help identify, cultivate, and steward both active and prospective donors, working closely with Foundation colleagues and hospital partners to advance our mission and expand our impact in the community
Responsibilities:

  • Assists the director in developing, managing, staffing and implementing fundraising activities in support of various hospital divisions, programs, and the Foundation's overall fiscal year goals.
  • Works with the director, Foundation colleagues, and hospital personnel to understand the funding needs of various divisions and programs, and works with various Foundation teams toward realizing those goals
  • Supports the fundraising activities associated with some of the following: community groups, individuals, organizations, and schools, providing necessary oversight and guidance for the events and campaigns as needed.
  • Maintains relationships with current fundraising organizations and/or individuals while looking for and developing opportunities to build new partnerships
  • Coordinates and manages all assigned activities and fundraising initiatives and attends fundraising events as appropriate/required.
  • Assists with all other stages of department specific fundraising initiative planning and execution as needed.
  • *Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
  • *Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, liberal arts, journalism, business or related field and 2 years of experience OR 6 years of experience in Development, communications, business, special event management, volunteer management, corporate community relations or related field.
  • Experience with development and/or fundraising in a health care, education or community non-profit setting preferred.

  • Act 31/33/34/73 child abuse clearances
