Development & Donor
Services Assistant
The Philanthropy department of The League is seeking a dedicated individual to work part-time as the Development & Donor Services Assistant. The efforts of this candidate support donor stewardship, gift processing, database management, event coordination, and fundraising. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and be motivated to serve our consumers.
Essential Duties/Skills/Responsibilities/Qualifications
• Process and accurately record all gifts and incoming revenue in the donor management system.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records.
• Prepare and coordinate donor acknowledgement letters and stewardship communications.
• Support the coordination of donor recognition activities.
• Assist with planning and implementation of fundraising events and philanthropic initiatives.
• Coordinate requests for donated auction items, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions.
• Serve as department point person for designated fundraising and marketing initiatives, including Write-A-Will Week.
• Process and distribute incoming mail and packages.
• Prepare department correspondence, mailings, reports, and presentation materials, including donor mailings, annual appeals, and stewardship initiatives.
• Maintain inventory of promotional materials, print materials, and department supplies.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical department files.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, and coordinating departmental activities.
• Support department reporting and administrative projects as assigned.
• Assist with special projects and other assignments that advance the goals of the Philanthropy Department.
