Advanced Pain & Anesthesia Consultants (APAC) is a Joint Commission–accredited provider of multidisciplinary pain management services. Our approach combines advanced interventional procedures with physical therapy and psychological support to address pain from multiple perspectives. What You'll Do
As a Business Development Associate, you'll help expand APAC's presence in the community by identifying referral opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and supporting initiatives designed to increase patient volume.
  • Identify and develop relationships with prospective referral sources within assigned markets. 
  • Research healthcare providers, organizations, businesses, and other potential referral partners. 
  • Promote APAC's services and educate referral sources on available treatment options. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing community providers and referral partners. 
  • Develop and execute networking, marketing, and community outreach initiatives. 
  • Coordinate and maintain calendars for marketing events and community activities. 
  • Work with internal teams to coordinate participation and support for outreach events. 
  • Monitor referral and community feedback and communicate insights to leadership. 
  • Track outreach activity, goals, and results and provide regular updates to management. 
  • Evaluate market opportunities and recommend strategies to strengthen APAC's presence within the community. 
  • Represent APAC professionally at networking events, meetings, and other community activities. 
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. 
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, communications, or a related field. 
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, customer service, fundraising, or a related field. 
  • At least 1 year of healthcare experience. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to confidently communicate with healthcare professionals, community partners, and other stakeholders. 
Preferred
  • Previous healthcare business development or marketing experience. 
  • Experience developing marketing campaigns or communications initiatives. 
  • Experience coordinating events or community outreach programs. 
  • Knowledge of public relations, networking, and fundraising strategies. 
  • Experience with professional networking and community relationship development. 
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
