Job description

Our Partner is looking for experienced hands-on developers to deliver mission-critical solutions across several key engagements within a growing multi-year portfolio.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong technical proficiency in building, testing, and deploying solutions, with direct hands-on development experience. This is not an oversight role; they need a technical practitioner who can write code, troubleshoot issues, and deliver working solutions.
Our Partner is looking for people local to the Fort Meade, MD area. It is expected this role will have 2-3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy an enterprise NOC/SOC in an AWS Landing Zone in the TS network fabric
  • Design, build, and deploy a secure IL5 cloud environment, supporting a distributed joint hunt kit solution
  • Support the migration of the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) into the Landing Zone. This includes deploying multiple containerized software solutions from 3rd party vendors, maintaining EKS clusters, and establishing hybrid networking between on-prem and cloud deployments.
  • Develop and implement a containerized Landing Zone solution on the red network fabric, establishing governance and a secure governance framework for tenant workload management

Requirements

  • TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance (CI Poly must be from the last 5 years)
  • 5+ years as a full-stack engineer
  • The following Cloud/AWS Experience:
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): CDK (preferred) or Terraform
    • Programming languages: Python, TypeScript
    • Core services: Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS/DynamoDB
    • Security: IAM, VPC, KMS
    • Networking: Network segmentation, Routing, Network security, Hybrid Networking (S2S VPN and/or Direct Connect), DNS Understanding, Load Balancing
    • CI/CD: CodePipeline, Gitlab CICD
    • Monitoring: CloudWatch, OpenSearch
    • Architecture & DevOps
    • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS
    • Serverless/microservice patterns: Lambda, SQS, SNS
    • Security best practices
