Job description

Our client, a government agency in the public sector, is seeking a Desktop Support to join their team. As a Desktop Support, you will be part of the IT Department supporting a dedicated team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Desktop Support

Location: Madison, WI - (Onsite)

Pay Range: $29 - $31 / hr.

What's the Job?

  • Onboard and offboard government employee devices, including mobile devices and iPads
  • Assist with deploying, configuring, and retiring nearly 2,000 devices over the next 12 months
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform device audits
  • Support software migration efforts, including moving ticketing systems from Cherwell to Ivanti
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support during conferences and team events

What's Needed?

  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining, updating, and deploying Apple products and iOS devices
  • 2+ years of experience with Mobile Device Management tools such as Workspace ONE or AirWatch
  • Experience in a customer-facing IT support role
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week with occasional travel within the state
