Title                       : Desktop Migration Engineer / Architect (Windows System Admin)

Experience            : 8+ Years

Location                : Reston, VA

Duration                : 6+ Months

Rate                       : (Negotiable)

 

         Responsible for designing the migration of client's windows xp to windows 8 desktop environments

         Up gradation of Office 2003 to Office 2010

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Ability to design and deploy enterprise Desktop OS migration solutions.

Knowledge and extensive experience in supporting (at large enterprise levels) integrated desktop solutions, office productivity applications, VDI environments, OS Images and Application Packaging's.

Good experience in desktop troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, migration planning and implementation. 

Good customer handling skills 

SKILLS:

Experience in supporting / managing multiple Windows XP to Windows 7/8 environments 

Good experience and knowledge on Operating Systems ( related with Windows OS upgrades),Citrix XenApp, Virtual Desktops, Application packaging, OS Imaging, Windows Scripts, OS deployments etc.

Good experience and knowledge on Antivirus applications, DLP Tools, other desktop security tools, desktop deployment and utilities related to desktop service.
