Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Manager to lead our front office team and ensure a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests and visitors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a positive guest experience while overseeing daily operations at the front desk.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate front desk staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and promptness
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, billing, and guest information
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues
- Monitor and manage daily cash flow, billing, and financial transactions
- Implement and uphold hotel policies, procedures, and standards
- Train and develop front desk staff to ensure high performance and service quality
- Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback for management review
- Safely operate the hotel van to transport guests between the hotel and various destinations (e.g., airport, local attractions).
- Cleaning and/or stocking the stock room.
- Communicate effectively with the front desk or other departments regarding guest pick-up/drop-off times.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

Education, Experience, and Skills (Qualifications/Requirements):
- Proven experience in front desk or hospitality management preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
- Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or management training is a plus
- FSPMS experience a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift items up to 75lbs.
-Must be able to operate a vehicle.
-Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods.
-Must be able to enter and exit the vehicle frequently throughout the shift.
