Job description

Are you a Receptionist?    Do you have law firm or other professional services experience?   If so, R & W Group has a great new temporary opportunity!   One of our favorite law firm clients is looking for a Temporary Receptionist.    The position is in-office.   
 
In this role you would:
 
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all clients, visitors and guests of the firm;
  • Answer, screen, and direct external and internal calls in a courteous and professional
  • manner;
  • Take messages and/or forward calls to appropriate employee or voice mail;
  • Clear messages each morning and forwards to appropriate employees;
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors upon their arrival and promptly notifies appropriate
employee of visitor arrivals;
  • Maintain meeting and conference room reservations and handles catering requests;
  • Provide job applicants with appropriate application materials and maintains confidentiality;
  • Assist visitors with any local transportation accommodations;
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues;
  • Handle security issues in a calm and professional manner and report to office management;
  • Familiarize oneself with firm personnel, policies, and procedures;
  • Flexibility to change hours as necessary to accommodate events, meetings, firm holidays, weather, and similar office emergencies;
  • Ensure that the reception area is kept clean and professional in appearance; and
  • Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-4 years of relevant receptionist/administrative experience with a medium-to-large sized organization preferred;
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with people at all levels;
  • 45+ wpm typing skills with good spelling, grammar, and punctuation;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Strong organizational and calendar management skills;
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards;
  • Professional appearance and outgoing demeanor; and
  • English is required and other language skills are a plus.
