Overview

We'reย looking for a detail-oriented, solutions-drivenย People & Culture Operations Associateย to help power the day-to-day employee experience across our organization.ย 

This is a highly operational role focused on delivering seamless onboarding, supporting employees in the field and corporate teams, and ensuring our systems, data, and processes run smoothly.ย ย

Responsibilities

Onboarding & Employee Lifecycleย 

  • Execute high-volume onboarding for both craft/field and corporate hiresย ย 
  • Manage new hire setup across systems (HRIS, onboarding tools, timekeeping, project systems)ย ย 
  • Coordinate onboardingย logisticsย with hiring managers and ITย ย 
  • Process employee changes including rehires, terminations, and status updatesย 
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data, including direct deposits, address updates, and tax documentationย 

Compliance & Reportingย 

  • Maintainย accurateย employee data across HR systemsย ย 
  • Support timekeeping and system troubleshootingย ย 
  • Support compliance reporting and auditsย ย 
  • Maintain personnel filesย andย ensureย I-9 documentationย isย compliant and audit-readyย ย 
  • Identifyย and improve inefficient or manual processesย 
  • Process weekly sick time submissions and ensure accuracyย ย 
  • Handle employment verifications and related documentationย 

Benefits Administrationย 

  • Coordinate benefits administration activities, including invoice tracking and payment support with vendors and internal partnersย 
  • Perform weekly audits of benefits enrollments to ensure accuracy and alignment with payroll deductionsย 
  • Partner with payroll to quickly resolve discrepancies between benefits elections and deductionsย 
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions, providing clear,ย timelyย supportย 
  • Support new hire enrollments and life event changesย 
  • Support leave of absence processes, including:ย 
  • Partnering with the leave administration vendor to manage requestsย 
  • Guiding employees through the submission process and ensuringย timelyย completionย 
  • Responding to employee questionsย regardingย leave policies, eligibility, and statusย 
  • Coordinating with payroll to ensureย accurateย pay and deductions during leave periodsย 
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations, People Operations, or administrative rolesย 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, process-driven workย 
  • Experience working across multipleย HRย systemsย ย 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environmentย 
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work across field and corporate populationsย 
  • High levelย of discretion and ability to handle confidential informationย 
  • Experience supporting construction, field, or distributed workforce populationsย is preferredย 
  • Understanding of HR compliance requirementsย 
  • Experience improving or documenting operational processesย 
Working Conditions

General office working conditions with some exposure and time on the physical job site and/or in the construction trailer. Job site walking.ย
