Job description

Customer Service Rep/Floater

Central Stone is seeking candidates for a full-time Customer Service Rep/Quarry Scale Clerk to perform fill-in duties for our various quarries located in the greater St Louis, MO metropolitan area. The position will often float around the area, filling in for our quarry scale clerks when they are out. When not filling in at our various quarries this position will be based out of our Fenton, MO regional office. The schedule for this position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and overtime as needed.

Customer Service Rep/Floater job duties include:

  • Filling in for vacationing or absent quarry scale clerks, includes mileage reimbursement
  • Enter customer and product data into scale system
  • Provide excellent customer service through positive interaction with customers and haulers.
  • Use electronic ticketing system to manage customer transactions
  • Assist with recordkeeping, answering phones and assisting customers, and other administrative tasks

The ideal Customer Service Rep/Floater candidate will have:

  • Strong customer focus
  • Experience with a multi-line phone system
  • Sound computer and math skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
