Job description

Position: Floater
Work Location: Statesville, NC 28625
Payrate: $14.50/hr
Duration: 3+ Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm
Dress Code: Jeans, T-shirt, composite or steel toe
PPE: safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection
 
Job Description:
  • Identify, record and report any problems relating to the product/process/quality system.
  • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designed channels.
  • Verify the implementation of solutions.
  • Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
  • Maintain assigned work area(s) in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Must collect scrap padding and put it onto the conveyer to be recycled.
  • Personal/Household trash must be picked up, swept and placed in designated containers for removal.
  • Sould be able to perform other tasks in other departments when necessary.
