They may specialize in specific brands or offer a range of different makes and models.

What are the different positions in a car dealership?

A car dealership typically employs various positions including sales associates, service technicians, parts specialists, finance managers, and administrative staff. Sales roles involve customer interaction and vehicle presentations, while service technicians perform vehicle repairs and maintenance. What is the highest paying job at a dealership?

The highest paying job at a dealership is typically the general manager or dealership principal, who oversees operations and can earn six-figure salaries plus bonuses. Other high-paying roles include finance managers and service directors, especially in larger dealerships with substantial sales volume and profit margins.

How much does a car salesman make on a $10,000 car?

A car salesperson typically earns a commission based on the profit or a percentage of the sale price.
