Location: Thoroughbred Ford - Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday + rotating Saturdays
Compensation: Hourly + Commission based on experience
Join a High-Volume Ford Dealership with a Growing Wholesale Operation
Thoroughbred Ford is looking for an experienced Automotive Parts counterperson to support both our retail/service counter and growing wholesale parts operation. We are a fast-paced Ford dealership with a strong service department and an expanding network of wholesale customers.
This role is ideal for someone who understands dealership parts operations, enjoys supporting technicians, and is comfortable managing high-volume wholesale orders for repair shops and commercial accounts.

What You'll Do
• Assist service technicians and advisors with accurate parts lookup and fulfillment
• Handle wholesale parts orders for independent repair shops and commercial accounts
• Manage phone and online orders from wholesale customers
• Provide retail parts support at the counter when needed
• Locate Ford OEM parts using electronic catalogs and dealership systems
• Process special orders, backorders, and returns
• Maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers through accurate and timely service
• Work closely with service staff to keep repairs moving efficiently
• Help maintain organized inventory and proper stock levels
What We're Looking For
Automotive dealership parts experience preferred
Ford parts experience is a plus
• Experience with dealership systems (SnapOn EPC, CDK)
• Experience handling wholesale parts accounts or high-volume phone orders is a strong plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Professional communication and customer service skills
