Job description

If you are an energetic, responsible, professional, and possess the ability to make decisions that will affect other people's daily lives, Futures Through Choices is hiring a Program Coordinator in our Taylorsville group home. Futures Through Choices works with individuals with disabilities such as Downs Syndrome, MR, Traumatic Brain Injury, in addition to other cognitive and physical disabilities.

The individual we hire must be able to work directly with individuals with disabilities as well as poses the ability to manage employees.

The major duties of the Program Coordinator include:

Managing employees: you will be responsible for scheduling staff hours to comply with the staffing requirements in place.

Daily Activities: you will be responsible to make sure that the individuals in the group home attend their daily activities. These activities include going to their day programs, work programs and doctor/dentist visits.

Weekly and Monthly Reports: you will be required to generate reports as directed by the individual programs.

Running staff meetings and trainings: all staff are trained monthly on certain aspects of their positions. You are required to make sure that staff meetings and trainings are scheduled and staff are attending as required.

In addition all candidates must have a Clean Drivers Record which means the candidate may not have a DUI, Reckless Driving, or multiple speeding and moving violations. The individual who is chosen for the position will need to pass an in depth background check prior to starting.
