Position Announcement
This position will report to the Associate Head Coach-Wrestling. Responsible for various cleaning, straightening, and maintenance tasks inside the wrestling room.
These are wrestling-specific tasks that are not covered by janitorial staff.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Maintain wrestling mats. Includes vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping daily and sometimes more, depending on the number of workouts held each day.
- Moving mats to avoid separation as needed.
- Keep the exercise area clean and organized. Includes arranging, cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking.
- Clean and maintain the recovery area.
- Keep the table used for recovery snacks wiped and sanitized.
- Vacuum the floor and restock the fridge with unused nutrition items.
- Keep Locker Rooms clean and organized.
- Pick up loose clothing, towels, etc., to take to the laundry.
- Vacuum the floor, rearrange hanging items, organize shelves above lockers, and notify the supervisor when towel inventory becomes low.
- Take all unmarked gear goes to the lost and found.
- Keep the bathroom area clean.
- Address area, especially after practice.
- Make sure urinals, showers, and saunas are clean.
- Notify the supervisor if the toilet paper and paper towel inventory gets low.
- Keep well stocked.
- Clean up the medical area and walkway.
- Vacuum the medical area and keep it well organized.
- Follow-up cleaning for any garbage left lying around.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
- Must be a current UVU student.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Understand each area that needs to be kept clean.
- Knowledge of what tasks need to be completed in each area.
- Knowledge of how to properly clean and what products to use.
- Mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Organizational skills.
- Communication skills.
- Ability to keep well stocked with supplies.
- Ability to lift a 25-pound container with mopping solution.
