What is a work study program?

A Work Study Program is a federally or institutionally funded program that provides part-time jobs for students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay for educational expenses. These jobs are often located on campus or with approved off-campus employers, and are designed to be flexible with students' class schedules.
