Position Summary
Responsible to coordinate daily operations of the adult day program. Responsible for planning, and implementing engaging and therapeutic activities for Members. Creates a stimulating and supportive environment that promotes social interaction, physical and mental well-being, and overall quality of life for adults attending the program. Ensures safe operation, and adherence to regulations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develops, organizes, and leads a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for Members. Including activities that are focused for enrichment, such as: exercise, music, singing, reminiscence, baking, gardening, Tovertafel, games, pet visits, etc.
- Coordinates with volunteers to provide enriching interactions and uplifting activities for Members.
- Create and maintain monthly activity calendar, and facilitating timely communication with participants
- Maintain accurate required records related to attendance, participation, and other relevant information.
- Provide leadership and supervision of all Team Members, Members, volunteers, and visitors with routine daily monitoring for opportunities to offer encouragement, education, and coaching. Conducts timely performance evaluations.
- Oversight to ensure that services are provided using appropriate methods that represent the expected culturally appropriate approach.
- Provide information for the Manager to create an individualized plan of care for each Member.
- Ensure compliance with all WVC policy and procedures, relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards, licensing, and reporting requirements.
- Maintains inventory of program materials as needed.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to Resident-centered care and exceptional customer service.
- Ability to comply with HIPAA regulations and all Willow Valley Communities policies and procedures.
