The NEEDS Center is local non-profit organization and we are now hiring for 3 Full Time Assistant Program Coordinators for our Tewksbury, Mass Day Program! The Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) will assist and support adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible while enjoying all aspects of Community Living.

  • Hourly rate is $22-23 an hour and includes a $1,500 sign-on bonus.
  • Schedule is Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM.

Responsibilities include:

  • Works cooperatively with the Program Coordinator and other supervisory personnel in training staff.
  • Coordination and supervision of daily operations of the program.
  • Provide hands-on direct care support to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Monitors and participates in the day-to-day implementation of clinical programs as well as ISP development.
  • Serves as a role model for staff in all areas of client programming, client services and professional practice.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a day program environment with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Good supervisory and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • MAP certification.
