DMF Lighting is a fast-growing leader in the lighting industry, always hard at work engineering what comes next. We have an exciting opportunity in our marketing department for a Commercial Digital Product Manager.


  • Pay range is $110,000 to $145,000 annually (based on skills/knowledge/experience)


  • Location: onsite in Carson, CA


We are seeking a results-driven Digital Product Manager to strategically own and optimize the digital ecosystem for our commercial sales channel. The Commercial Digital Product Manager will drive the development, optimization, and performance of DMF Lighting’s digital tools and platforms for our commercial business including Rep Agents, Distributors, Contractors, Specifiers, and End Users. This role serves as a strategic operational link between sales, marketing, IT, and product teams, ensuring digital resources – including our Agent Portal, Website experience, and configuration tools - enhance dealer satisfaction and accelerate growth. The ideal candidate understands both the technical and human side of the digital experience and can translate business goals into actionable digital roadmaps and product experience. This position will report to the Senior Director of Commercial Growth and is crucial for shaping our brand's digital footprint across the Commercial Channel.


Responsibilities


Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the digital experience roadmap for DMF’s commercial website, Agent portal, and future needs
  • Identify, prioritize, and advocate for tools and experiences that improve our diverse customer journeys—from specification to post-sale support.
  • Define KPIs to measure platform effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.


Cross Functional Product Ownership

  • Act as liaison between sales, customer solutions, product, IT, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of projects.
  • Translate sales and marketing needs into user-centric digital features or workflows.
  • Serve as a product owner for all digital assets relevant to the Commercial channel (e.g., spec tools, CPQ, portal access, asset libraries).


User Experience (UX) & Content

  • Optimize the structure and content of the Agent portal to simplify specifying, quoting, and overall project management of DMF orders.
  • Ensure consistency in content, brand voice, and interface usability across all commercial digital assets
  • Collaborate with creative and sales teams to implement upgrades, campaigns, and educational resources.
  • Establish continuous feedback loops with agents and customers to inform digital product prioritization and enhancements.


User Engagement & Enablement

  • Support the rollout of new digital tools and content, including training internal teams and agents.
  • Champion the use of analytics, CRM, and marketing automation tools that deepen customer engagement and track conversion.
  • Conduct direct outreach to key Agents to gather feedback on portal usability, content gaps, and feature needs.
  • Support digital engagement strategies across trade shows, webinars, campaigns, and product launches, integrating experiences that showcase innovation, such as configurators.


This role is pivotal to driving business growth by establishing DMF as the unrivaled leader in B2B lighting technology tools, achieved through providing a best-in-class, intuitive, and user-friendly digital experience for our agents and customers.


Requirements


  • 5+ years of progressive experience in in B2B Digital Product Management or Channel Marketing/Customer Digital Experience Roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Associated field like Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience launching and managing B2B digital platforms (e.g., Agent/Customer Portals, CPQ, CMS, Product Databases.Specific experience with Apex, Oracle CPQ, WordPress, Hubspot is a plus.
  • Proven ability to successfully drive digital initiatives from strategy through launch, demonstrating leadership across cross functional teams (Sales, IT, Marketing).
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to define and interpret KPIs to inform the roadmap. Experience with web analytics and CRM/Conversion funnel tracking is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the lighting industry or B2B architectural products space a significant plus.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to be based day to day out of DMF HQ with necessary travel to visit agents and customers approximately once per quarter.
