Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Manual Testers with strong expertise in Agile software testing, API validation, database testing, and defect management. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience creating and executing test cases, validating enterprise applications, performing API and database testing, and collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver high quality software solutions. Candidates with Integrated Eligibility project experience will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts based on User Stories and Epics
• Perform Sprint Testing, Regression Testing, and Functional Testing in Agile environments
• Validate application functionality and ensure business requirements are met
• Perform REST and SOAP API testing
• Execute Linux and Unix batch jobs using PuTTY
• Mock inbound files based on Storyboards for testing scenarios
• Perform database validation using Oracle or similar relational databases
• Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation and data verification
• Log, track, and manage defects using ALM and JIRA
• Participate in Sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and project meetings
• Present live Sprint demonstrations to project stakeholders
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve functional issues
• Produce testing documentation and execution reports
Required Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of hands on software testing experience
• Hands on testing experience in recent projects
• Experience writing test cases from User Stories and Epics
• Expertise with ALM for defect management
• Experience with Sprint Testing and Regression Testing
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience performing REST and SOAP API Testing
• Experience using JIRA or JIRA Plug Ins
