Contract Role

Role Overview
The Identity Data Analyst & Tester (SailPoint / Okta) is a contract role focused on supporting enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) programs through hands-on data analysis, access validation, and testing activities.
This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of identity and access data within SailPoint and Okta, supporting security operations, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of IAM controls.
Key Responsibilities:
SailPoint IdentityIQ / IdentityNow
Analyze identity, account, entitlements
Reconcile SailPoint data with HR systems, directories, and applications
Identify orphaned accounts
Assist with rule validation, identity correlation
Test provisioning and deprovisioning to downstream applications
Support testing
Okta Access & Integration Testing
Validate Okta joiner, mover, leaver workflows
Test provisioning and deprovisioning to downstream applications
Verify group membership, attribute mappings, and access enforcement
Identify discrepancies between Okta, directories, and applications
IAM Testing & Control Validation
Execute test plans for identity lifecycle and access controls
Validate control design and operating effectiveness (SOX / ITGC)
Document test results, defects, and remediation actions
Audit & Compliance Support
Collect and validate audit evidence from SailPoint and Okta
Support auditor inquiries and remediation tracking
Reporting & Documentation
Develop and maintain test cases, data validation documentation, findings summaries, and remediation tracking artifacts suitable for IAM leadership, cybersecurity management, and audit consumption.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in IAM, identity data analysis, or access governance
Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow
Hands-on experience with Okta lifecycle workflows and integrations
Understanding of identity lifecycle and access governance controls
Key Competencies:
Strong analytical and data validation skills
