Job description

Job Title : Data Science Tester
Job Location : Charlotte, NC (ONSITE)
Job Type : Full-Time
Job Description:
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong SQL experience (Oracle preferred): joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance aware analytical queries.
• MongoDB experience, including aggregation pipelines and understanding schema tradeoffs in document- based systems.
• Hands-on Power BI experience: data models, DAX fundamentals, refresh behavior, and metric validation.
• Solid grounding in statistical reasoning for analytics: distributions, aggregation effects, segmentation, bias detection, and trend interpretation.
• Experience working within an SDLC and analytics delivery lifecycle (Agile/Jira familiarity).
• Strong written and verbal communication: ability to explain complex analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Haves
• Experience with large-scale enterprise analytics or developer productivity metrics.
• Familiarity with BI semantic modeling (star/snowflake, measures vs. dimensions).
• Exposure to Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible Tower, or similar engineering tooling.
• Python or similar scripting for exploratory analysis, validation, or repeatable checks.
• Background in data governance, metric stewardship, or analytical standards (definitions, SLAs, lineage).
