Overview

Nakupuna Services is seeking to hire four (4) DMLSS Multi Site Support Database Sustainment Specialist to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) Database Sustainment Specialist (DSS) Support contract. Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) Multi-Site Support Specialist (MSS) is a Remote position with travel to various sites, based upon requests from Area of Responsibility Managers (AORM) and leadership approval.  The MSS Team assists all AORs, as needed. Each specialist has primary responsibility to assigned AORs and will fill the role of the Database Sustainment Specialist (DSS) at a site that has a vacancy or requires additional support.  

The MSS Team provides quality assurance support to all Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and to the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contractor staff as requested by the AOR Manager.   

Responsibilities

The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this position but does not restrict tasks that may be assigned. 

  • Perform DSS tasks, as detailed below, for sites that have requested and been granted Multi-Site Support 
  • Participate in Transition Calls with AORMs, FOSs, and key site personnel to understand specific needs and/or special circumstances at the location requesting assistance 
  • Maintain detailed and thorough record of tasks performed, by date and site, to be included in metrics for consolidated Multi-Site Support Team Monthly Activity Report (MPR) 
  • Maintain the DHA Call/Work Management Center for customer support to DHA MTFs. This includes managing a potentially large volume of inbound work order calls in a timely manner, identifying and clarifying the needs of the customer, and building a sustainable relationship between the DHA Customers and the MTFs 
  • Assist the Training Team - complete taskers, review proof of concept DMLSS to LogiCole crosswalk videos, slide decks, and other training tools; provide feedback as requested 
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as requested by Leadership 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
  • Must be able to pass official background checks and gain access to military installations 
  • Must be willing to travel to sites as needed 

Roles of the DSS the MSS Must be Able to Perform 

  • Create, Maintain, and Update DMLSS-FM inventories 
  • Maintain DMLSS-FM Requirement Management Module 
  • Maintain DMLSS-FM Project Management Module 
  • Support Drawing Management 
  • Support Regulatory Compliance/The Joint Commission 
  • Support Work Request, Preventive Maintenance, and Real Property Installed Equipment 
  • Create, Maintain, and Update DMLSS-FM Inventories with no O&M Support 
  • Maintain Preventive Maintenance Program 
Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate possesses expertise and experience in project management, especially within infrastructure and environmental services. Key qualifications include:  

  • Minimum 2 years' DMLSS experience as a DSS, required 
  • Minimum of two years' experience using Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • BI knowledge & proficiency 
  • Travel is required - up to 30% 
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills 
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective decision-making abilities 
  • Possess the ability to analyze information, interpret results, and problem-solving skills 
  • Customer focused 
  • Ability to work confidently and productively in a limited-supervision, self-directed environment 

Education: 

 Level I Minimum Requirement High School Diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant program support or administrative experience. Experience may substitute for formal education. 

Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or related discipline with experience supporting DoD or healthcare programs. 

Location: Remote 

Clearance Requirements:  

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) (Tier 1) investigation  
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). 
  • Must comply with all installation access and security requirements. 

Physical Requirements:In addition to the skills and qualifications mentioned above, candidates must, at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements. 

  • Sit for extended periods while working at a computer. 
  • Perform repetitive hand and finger movements. 
  • Walk short distances within medical facilities. 
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. 
  • Maintain focus on detailed data entry and system review tasks. 
  • Work in a low-noise office environment within a healthcare facility.
