Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Data Quality Analyst to serve as the Data Steward for a Resilience Analytics Project. This role is critical to ensure the Data Quality needed for the success of this project. The analyst will be responsible for defining and implementing data quality rules, identifying and resolving data issues, and ensuring alignment with governance standards. Additionally, they will design and develop dashboards to monitor data quality, enabling ongoing visibility into the data health and readiness.

Required Experience (5+ years):

  • Experience in data management, with a focus on data quality.
  • Experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role related to data quality.
  • Experience building data domains from scratch, including the design and implementation of data quality rules tailored to a specific business area.
  • Experience in data quality management, including issue tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with Informatica Data Quality for establishing and maintaining data quality rules.
  • Experience utilizing strong analytical skills with knowledge of data quality issues and processes.
  • Experience participating in data quality working groups or similar forums.
  • Experience applying knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with data discovery and data mapping.
  • Experience in dashboard development.
  • Experience in SQL coding.
  • Experience and proficiency in BI/Visualization Platform - MicroStrategy, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
  • Experience with Snowflake - understand structure, schema design, and how to query within it.
  • Experience demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive data quality initiatives.
  • Experience applying excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Data Quality needed for the success of the Resilience project.
  • Define and implement data quality rules, identifying and resolving data issues, and ensuring alignment with governance standards.
  • Design and develop dashboards to monitor data quality, enabling ongoing visibility into the data health and readiness.
  • Implement data quality standards, controls, and metrics for monitoring Critical Data Elements across the organization.
  • Develop and update data quality dashboards to identify and report on data quality gaps and issues.
  • Assist in managing the data quality issue management process, including tracking and monitoring issues.
  • Utilize Informatica Data Quality to support the establishment and maintenance of data quality rules.
  • Participate in root cause analysis of data quality issues and assists in designing remediation plans.
  • Track remediation efforts and collaborates with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with data stewards and other stakeholders to support data quality-related activities and cross-domain data quality standards.
  • Participate in data quality working groups, contributing to the design and tracking of remediation plans.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of data policies and procedures related to data quality.
  • Support the development and measurement of performance metrics to assess adherence to data quality standards.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certification in data management, data quality, or data governance.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
