The Data Quality Analyst plays a critical role within the FGS Government Delivery team, responsible for improving the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data integrated into Fortress's Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) platform supporting government programs. This position directly addresses data quality gaps across disparate government data sources by validating, standardizing, and enhancing metadata to ensure high-confidence operational outputs for mission-critical Navy programs. It is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented analyst looking to deepen their expertise in government data quality and supply chain risk management with direct exposure to federal clients and high-visibility programs. The role operates with moderate guidance and requires strong analytical judgment to navigate incomplete, inconsistent, and evolving data inputs.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Validate and reconcile metadata across multiple disparate government data sources to ensure accuracy and completeness within the C-SCRM platform
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data anomalies and inconsistencies to improve overall data quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to define, create, and update required metadata supporting enterprise data standards
  • Support the ingestion, normalization, and baselining of data sources into the C-SCRM tool
  • Execute manual Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) implementation and validation processes within air-gapped environments
  • Develop and execute data validation workflows using Excel, Looker, and QA tools to monitor and improve data integrity
  • Write and execute queries or scripts to efficiently analyze datasets and detect quality issues
  • Track, document, and manage data defects and remediation efforts using Jira and other tracking systems
  • Participate in regular working sessions with government clients and internal teams to review data quality, resolve issues, and align on requirements
  • Continuously improve data quality processes, documentation, and validation techniques to support scalable operations
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of experience in data quality, cybersecurity, or related technical roles
  • Active Secret security clearance (required)
  • Experience supporting mission-critical or high-visibility programs in a client-facing environment
  • Strong understanding of Navy systems and cybersecurity requirements within regulated environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and validation
  • Experience using data validation or QA tools to assess and improve data quality
  • Experience using Jira or similar ticketing systems to track defects and workflows
  • Ability to write queries or scripts to analyze and validate datasets
  • Strong analytical judgment and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to execute independently with moderate guidance
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience supporting Navy Program Offices or similar government organization
  • Experience with Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) concepts and tools
