Location: San Jose, CA
Role Overview
Astera Labs is seeking a driven and curious Talent Management Intern to join our HR team for Summer 2026. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of talent management, from onboarding and development programs to early career initiatives and process optimization - at one of the fastest-growing AI infrastructure connectivity companies in the industry.

    • Contribute to the development of standardized University Recruiting Kits for consistent campus branding
    • Assist with campus ambassador program expansion and student organization partnerships
    • Help design communication strategies to engage the early career talent community year-round
  • Process Optimization & Automation
    • Map and document requirements across the candidate lifecycle from application through FTE conversion
    • Support automation efforts for data collection, feedback touchpoints, and reporting
    • Assist in building the Early Career Dashboard to track real-time metrics
    • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes using technology and AI tools
Basic Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with an expected graduation date before August 2027
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Demonstrated interest in HR, talent management, or people operations
  • Ability to work full-time in San Jose, CA for the duration of the internship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework or experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or related fields
