Job Description

Welcome patients into the treatment area and actively work to ensure their comfort throughout the visit.
Assist the Orthodontist during various procedures, including adjustments, bonding, and removal of appliances.
Review the dental care plan with patients, answer non-clinical questions, and provide patient education.
Perform high-quality clinical tasks, including taking photographs, Intraoral scanning, and capturing Pano and Ceph X-rays.
Prepare, sterilize, and disinfect equipment, instruments, and the operatory following strict dental sterilization procedures and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace.
Perform data entry and manage patient records accurately using computer systems.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including Workplace health and safety regulatory compliance.
Travel to our satellite office in Jackson every other Monday to support patient care there.

Salary Range

Full-time $27 - $32 per hour

Thursday: 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM (Note: Only three of these four days will be scheduled weekly.)

Requirements
  • Basic life support

License: Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure.
Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Certification.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a dental or orthodontic clinic setting.
Skills: Strong communication skills and customer service abilities for effective patient interaction and greeting.
