What You'll Do
We are currently seeking Data & Automation Student Associates to work part-time on site in our apparel facility, with a focus on data operations support. These roles are designed for students who are interested in learning how operational data flows through a manufacturing environment and contributing to meaningful, real-world process enhancements.
Student Associates will primarily help organize, document, and support existing Data Ops and production-related processes. Through this work, they will also be well-positioned to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, such as opportunities to standardize data requests, reduce manual or duplicative reporting, clarify ownership and handoffs, and flag automation or data quality improvements.
Schedule & Availability
  • Monday-Friday between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM
  • Set weekly schedule designed to accommodate class commitments

Key Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Analyze, document, and support existing data management processes for custom orders
  • Identify and surface opportunities to improve data requests, reporting workflows, and handoffs
  • Assist in streamlining the printing, sorting, and distribution of job cards for production
  • Support the preparation, organization, and optimization of digital production folders
  • Participate in documenting and refining processes for compiling replacement order information
  • Run automated software to create production-ready artwork
  • Update internal proprietary systems to reflect completed tasks and workflow status
  • Update SAP systems with revised dates and create or group items for delivery
  • Flag manual, duplicative, or error-prone steps and suggest process or automation improvements

What We're Looking For
Other qualifications include:
  • Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or technical school
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience with SAP or SAP-related systems (preferred)
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI and/or Tableau (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with data and documentation
  • Ability to understand product specifications and interpret product visuals
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
  • Willingness to learn multiple processes and work across departments
  • Ability to collaborate openly and build positive relationships with internal and external partners

The starting pay for this role is $17/hour at the time of this posting.
