Job description

Duties for this role include but are not limited to: Performs data analysis utilizing Excel, SQL and/or SAS to ensure accurate compensation of crews’ credit hours. Plans, develop, analyze, audits, and evaluate crew compensation to ensure accurate and timely accounting of crews’ credit hours in accordance with the crews’ collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and the department's standard operating procedures. Audits, maintains, and reconciles the crews’ sick and vacation banks to ensure compliance with the CBA.

Essential Functions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, v-lookups, advanced formulas, and use of VBA/macros)

  • Knowledge of pilot's collective bargaining agreement and duty time regulations

  • Knowledge of statistics, accounting, and the FedEx computerized crew management systems

  • Strong analytical, communication, human relation skills and decision-making/problem solving abilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years related experience with automated compensation systems, financial and operational analysis, and/or computerized crew management systems. Assist with tracking, controlling, and substantiating incoming data. Ability to perform data analytics utilizing Excel, SAS and/or SQL.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated planning, organizing and attention to details

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Emphasis in Finance or Accounting, with demonstrated ability to apply cross-functional organizational and contractual knowledge in a complex operational environment. This includes collaboration across departments such as Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, and Operations; interpreting and applying contractual (CBA) provisions; partnering with system and data teams to support payroll processing and reporting; and effectively communicating financial impacts and requirements to stakeholders.

Pay Transparency:

This is a hybrid position located in Memphis, TN. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week

Pay:

Memphis pay range: $5,152.82 - $8,244.52 USD Monthly FEC-B24
