Job Description We are seeking a Media Analyst, Communications Measurement to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in media monitoring, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and data visualization and a proven ability to evaluate impact across traditional press, social media, and owned channels to inform strategy. Responsibilities: Read, analyze, and summarize media coverage of priority issues.

Monitor news cycles and policy developments domestically and internationally and provide local context. Create insight reports and visualizations to assess impact and guide future communications strategy. Develop and support strategic KPIs for proactive and reactive communications across earned, owned, and paid channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Fluency in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication. Proven qualitative and quantitative analysis skills; ability to synthesize complex media narratives. Experience handling data sets and creating visualizations; familiarity with Brandwatch and Cision is a plus.

Experience drafting messaging materials and writing concise news summaries. Track record managing multiple deliverables under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Broadcast, Political Science, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related field.

2+ years in media analysis, research, journalism, communications, media agency, media analysis firm, media measurement platform, or think tank roles. Preferred Skills: Experience with media monitoring tools and social listening platforms. Background in measurement projects using data platforms to evaluate media coverage and social conversation.
