Job description

Job Title: Payroll Accountant (6-Month Project)

Location: West Side of Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract โ€“ 4-6 Months

We are partnering with a client on the west side of Indianapolis to identify a Payroll Accountant for a 6-month project. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of payroll data through detailed reconciliation and analysis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and reconcile payroll records for accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze payroll data using Excel and other analytics tools
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies across payroll reports
  • Export data from payroll systems into Excel for reporting and validation
  • Partner with accounting and HR teams to ensure alignment of payroll-related data
  • Support general ledger tie-outs related to payroll activity

Additional Details:

  • Fully onsite role (Mondayโ€“Friday)
  • 6-month project with potential for extension based on business needs
