Job description

Summary:
Join a growing, independent insurance agency in Madison, WI as an Insurance Customer Service Representative! In this role you'll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, and play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships while providing outstanding service and support.
This role will be 100% onsite in Madison, WI. Hours are full-time Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Pay is $50,000 per year; potential to earn more based on insurance experience and licensure. Competitive benefits offered.
Responsibilities:Serve as the first point of contact for client service inquiries
Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, renewals, billing questions, and coverage requests
Process certificates of insurance, ID cards, policy documents, and other insurance-related paperwork
Communicate with insurance carriers regarding policy servicing and underwriting requests
Maintain accurate client records within agency management systems
Follow up on outstanding client requests and ensure timely resolution
Identify opportunities to improve coverage and refer sales opportunities to agency producers
Support retention efforts by building strong client relationships and delivering proactive service
Assist with claims reporting and claims follow up as needed
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Previous insurance agency experience preferred
Wisconsin Property & Casualty License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with agency management systems preferred
Willingness to complete background check upon accepted offer
