Introduction
We are looking for a Site Account Manager, Iron Range to join our Site Account Management team. In this role, you will build and maintain long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders while promoting Metso's aftermarket solutions and services. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, coordinating customer-facing activities, and driving profitable business growth through exceptional account management, contributing to increased customer satisfaction and long-term business success.
You will report to the Director, MA Mining Service Sales East.
This role is based in Minnesota, with flexible and hybrid working options available.
This role includes approximately 75% travel to customer sites throughout the Iron Range region and requires frequent overnight travel.
Team you will belong to
You will join a team of Site Account Management professionals focused on delivering profitable growth through strong customer relationships and value-added service solutions. Our team plays a key role in supporting customer operations, maximizing aftermarket opportunities, and strengthening Metso's presence at customer sites, with a shared focus on delivering exceptional customer value and long-term partnership success.
We collaborate closely with customers, field service teams, technical sales support, capital sales teams, operations, product specialists, and other internal stakeholders. Our team is based across North America, and our ways of working emphasize open communication, collaboration, accountability, customer focus, and getting things done together.
What you'll do
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders at assigned mining sites.
  • Identify aftermarket sales opportunities and communicate capital project opportunities to capital sales teams.
  • Coordinate customer-facing activities across Metso functions to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer operations, business needs, and strategic objectives.
  • Lead site sales activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Support account planning activities, including relationship management, budgeting, sales roadmaps, and growth strategies.
  • Maintain accurate information related to installed equipment, operational performance, maintenance shutdown schedules, and business opportunities.
  • Drive customer satisfaction initiatives, including survey coordination, continuous improvement activities, and support for accounts receivable collection efforts.

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role within an industrial environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with minerals processing equipment and applications within mining and quarry operations is strongly preferred.
  • Nice to have: Experience with field service, equipment repair, crushing and screening, bulk material handling, pyro processing, or grinding equipment.
