Customer Operations Specialist

Full-time/Non-Exempt

Cincinnati, OH

American Line Builders Chapter, NECA is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and dynamic individual to enhance our group as our full-time Customer Operations Specialist. You will provide administrative support to American Line Builders small team while reporting to the Office Operations Manager. Duties included processing accounts receivables in our electronic payroll reporting software, acting as our initial point of contact to members and other industry stakeholders, and overseeing additional projects as required. When hired on, you will be privy to confidential and private information, and we require high levels of discretion in handling these matters. In-person (downtown Cincinnati), Hourly/Full Time position including pension, HRA, full healthcare, and included parking.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

· Answering the phone and providing customer support

· Actively monitoring email communications and responding in a timely manner

· Assisting with simple bookkeeping tasks and banking

· Administering internal databases

· Accounts Receivable

· Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events, seminars, webinars and other workshops

· Providing support to other members of American Line Builders team on a variety of projects

· Providing quality customer service

· Performing basic graphic design work, including creating and maintaining promotional materials, forms, presentations, and digital content

· Other duties as assigned

Skills and qualifications:

· Undergraduate degree preferred

· Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in an office environment

· Excellence in Word and MS Excel, MacOS

· Fluency in English both verbal and written

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Exhibits a pleasant and professional attitude and demeanour

· Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work unsupervised

· Experience using Cvent, including creating and managing event registration websites

· Familiarity with QuickBooks, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping functions is desirable

· Knowledge of construction industry and unionized work environments is an asset
