Quality is at the core of Patagonia's ethos, and creating quality products is central to the Company's mission to "Save Our Home Planet." As a Quality Ambassador, the Quality Insights Analyst will champion a culture of quality by helping the business understand product performance through the lens of the customer experience. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate technical concepts and analytical findings in a clear, compelling way for non-technical audiences, while building strong relationships with cross-functional partners to influence decisions, and embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize data visualization and descriptive statistics to connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded insights for scalable and intuitive reporting.

  • Act as primary point-of-contact to collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence quality-related product performance improvement.

  • Build expertise and serve as a subject matter expert in our customers' perception of Patagonia's product quality and how to make improvements.

  • Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.

  • Independently drive projects that help inform product creation teams on improving the quality of our products.

  • Report on project status, lead meetings with cross-functional partners, and create supporting documentation.

  • Extract and analyze data from returns data, customer reviews, & manufacturing reports using SQL

  • Build and maintain dashboards that track quality metrics, defect trends, and factory performance across product categories

Experience You Bring

  • BA/BS Degree in a relevant field preferred

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in data analytics and visualization

  • Cross functional collaboration, presentation and communication skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)

  • Understanding of basic quality concepts or product lifecycle in apparel or consumer goods

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating data into insights

  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and a desire to improve product performance and customer experience

  • Demonstrates initiative, and creative independent thinking

  • Knowledge in quality, apparel, and apparel manufacturing a plus

  • Able towork well under pressure and deadlines

  • Alignment with core values of the Company's business model

Hiring Range:$105,000-$110,000 USD Annual

At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.

Workplace Location Overview

This position is Hybrid, with a standard schedule of Tuesday - Thursday on-site and remote work on other days. Occasional additional office visits may be required for team events or critical meetings.
