Finance Officer & Customer Account Manager

The Opportunity:

The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, managing customer funds and diagnosing issues with project financials can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a finance officer and customer account manager who can navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to ensure good stewardship of customer funds across lines of business.

As a finance officer and customer account manager on our team, you’ll engage with project managers to keep open lines of communication. You will research and diagnose issues with project financials to determine appropriate solutions. You will create, manage, and close Service Level Agreements and collect on delinquent bills from customers to ensure accurate and compliant financial tradecraft.

This is an opportunity for you to apply the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well‑formed requirements. You’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project managers and customers. You will further your financial analysis experience by identifying process improvements to create efficiencies in management of customer financials. Qualifications

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience working with project financials or as a customer account manager

  • Experience with engaging and managing senior stakeholders on behalf of government clients

  • Ability to conduct research and analysis of project financials

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working with project financials or as a customer account manager

  • Experience with client specific financial tools such as BASIS, COGNOS, Acquisitions Lifecycle Management, CAPTURE Billing, SLA Workflow, CAT, or Maximo

  • Knowledge of the Working Capital Fund

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
