Position OverviewA KidStrong Coach is the heartbeat of our center, delivering engaging classes for kids ages 15 months through 11 years old. Coaches create a fun, safe, and energetic environment while helping kids develop physically, socially, and emotionally.
ResponsibilitiesCoaching
Lead engaging classes using the KidStrong curriculum
Coach children from walking age through 11 years old
Create positive interactions with kids and families
Maintain a fun, motivating, and structured class environment
Ensure classes start and end on schedule
Assist parents of younger students during class
Track attendance and awards using the KidStrong Coaches App
Training & Leadership
Complete KidStrong Coach Certification and training modules
Build relationships with families and support engagement
Communicate with team members and attend staff meetings
Center Operations
Assist with community outreach events
Help maintain a clean and welcoming center
Provide excellent customer service to families
ScheduleClasses run throughout the week:
Weekdays
Mid-morning classes
Evening classes until approximately 7 PM

Weekends
Classes begin at 8 AM and run through lunchtime
Flexible scheduling available, typically 524 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours through camps and special programs.
Physical RequirementsThis is an active coaching role. Coaches should be comfortable:
Demonstrating exercises and activities
Moving throughout classes
Lifting equipment up to 25 lbs
Physically assisting children to ensure safety and proper technique
QualificationsRequired
Passion for working with children
Energetic and comfortable leading groups
Strong communication skills
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred
Athletic or youth coaching background
Experience working with kids 15 months 11 years old
Knowledge of exercise techniques and body mechanics
Bonus experience: youth coaching, fitness instruction, pediatric OT/PT.
