Job description

Job Overview
The Sycamore of River Falls is a growing, we are a full-service senior living community with 84 apartments including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a secured neighborhood on first floor. The property has four villa patio twin home units with two bedroom and three bedroom options for active, independent seniors. The apartment building consists of a variety of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom units. The underground parking garage has 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and residents' storage area. Managed by Ebenezer. This newer care facility is Located in River Falls, WI
We're hiring for a part-time Culinary Assistant/Server position. This role is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to senior age residents in our building.
16 hours total in two weeks, includes every other Sat/Sunday
Responsibilities
  • Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
  • Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
  • Offers resident meal choices and meets resident's specific dietary needs.
  • Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
  • Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
  • Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
  • Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
  • Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
  • Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
  • Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
  • Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
  • Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
  • Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
