Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of an integrated, multi-channel marketing plan for one or more business lines that help drive the success of the assigned business line(s) and the overall brand of the CU. The Manager is responsible for supporting Product Marketing efforts and partnering with business line leadership and their teams to ensure a deep understanding of and alignment with their strategies, goals, and initiatives. Ensures market research and data analytics are included in the development of business strategy, marketing strategy, and marketing analysis.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum five years' experience in marketing
  • Worked at or with a creative or digital agency, or resources required
  • Strong experience in traditional and emerging marketing channels, including advertising, direct mail, email, sales materials, TV/OTT, digital, events, social, and experiential
  • Familiarity with CRMs, ESPs and key platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Understanding of Google Analytics, tracking and tagging
  • Financial service and agency experience preferred
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organization, project management and trafficking of assets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strengths in PPT

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for the assigned business line(s) in order to attract new members, retain existing customers, and capture additional wallet share
  • Oversees paid media campaigns and identifies key optimization opportunities
  • Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services and a deeper understanding of member expectations in emerging markets
  • Directs projects with cross-organizational team members to execute on strategic marketing initiatives
  • Maintains a strong digital presence through online advertising, search engine optimization, social media, and other relevant channels in order to drive incremental traffic to and business through the website
  • Develop product content strategy and calendar to increase organic growth
  • Manage and liaise with media partners and advertising agencies, identifying and developing higher impact strategies
  • Interpret results from various analytics to ensure business goals are being met and campaign performance is continually optimized
  • Manages projects on time and on budget, inclusive of project plan development, distributing call recaps, agendas, deliverables, and reporting
  • *Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $107,000 - $133,700 per year. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
