Role Responsibilities :
As a Marketing Manager, you will lead the credit union's marketing strategy and operations to drive growth, strengthen brand awareness, enhance member engagement, and advance organizational objectives. You will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic priorities and deliver measurable business results.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee Marketing staff and daily operations through hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and operational leadership to ensure efficient service delivery, adherence to quality standards, and a high-performing team.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that align with the credit union's business objectives, support organizational growth, and drive member acquisition, retention, product adoption, and brand awareness.
  • Partner with executive leadership and department leaders to understand organizational priorities, market opportunities, member needs, business goals, and regulatory requirements, translating those insights into compliant and effective marketing strategies, communications, and campaigns.
  • Lead all aspects of the credit union's marketing and branding strategy, including advertising, promotions, digital marketing, public relations, member communications, community engagement, and brand management across all communication channels to support organizational objectives, strengthen brand awareness, and drive member growth and engagement.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, member behavior, campaign performance, and business results using marketing analytics tools, member surveys, MCIF, and other data sources to identify opportunities, measure effectiveness, and develop data-driven marketing strategies and recommendations.
  • Partner with departments throughout the organization to support the development, launch, and promotion of new products, services, and strategic initiatives that strengthen member relationships and organizational performance.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the annual marketing budget to ensure effective allocation of resources, maximize return on investment, and achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and communicate marketing strategies, campaign results, market insights, and departmental performance to credit union leadership.
  • Serve as the credit union's primary media spokesperson and oversee public relations efforts to maintain a positive and consistent organizational image.
  • Stay informed of emerging marketing trends, technologies, digital platforms, and industry best practices through professional involvement, industry resources, and community engagement. Recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance marketing effectiveness, member engagement, and organizational competitiveness.
  • Oversee and coordinate annual Scholarship programs, ensuring alignment with the credit union's community involvement and strategic outreach objectives.

Knowledge and Education :
  • 3-5 years of content marketing experience or related work experience.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Marketing or a related degree.

Other Skills:
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding strategies, and digital marketing techniques with the ability to align marketing initiatives to organizational goals.
  • Expertise in social media platforms, audience growth, engagement strategies, and content optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify opportunities, measure results, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in email marketing platforms, campaign management, website administration (including WordPress), Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva; experience with Google Analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.

Work Environment : Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm EST; hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
